Joint Pain Makes Clowns Cry at Night

One demoralizing symptom of hypothyroidism is joint pain. It may persist, even after taking thyroid medications. What if you could eliminate the pain with one little pill available over the counter at grocery and health food stores?

Chia Seeds: Super Food and Weight Loss Tool

A few months ago, I came across a post on a fitness website which had a recipe containing chia seeds. It seemed bizarre that humans would eat chia seeds, since my only experience with them was in the form of chia pets.

I did a little research, and it changed my mind completely. Chia seeds are extremely nutritious, and can aid weight loss efforts.

Heal Yourself Through Helping Another

It's getting closer to Christmas. A lot of people have charity on their minds during this time. Whether you believe in a supreme deity or deities, or karma, or whatever, you realize sooner or later that making other people's lives better makes yours better in the process.

I came across a cause on another blog. Reece's Rainbow is an adoption organization devoted to eastern European orphans with special needs. I don't know these people, nor am I affiliated with them in any way.

The pictures of those little children touched my heart and made me want to open my wallet.

Hopefully you will have the same reaction. Donations can be made via Paypal and are tax deductible. The funds go toward the highly expensive adoption fees.

Visit Reece's Rainbow and make a donation, even a single dollar, that will help these children find families.

Learn more and donate for this little girl here.

Chocolate: Friend or Foe?

I grew up regarding chocolate as junk food, not to be eaten regularly without extreme guilt. Somewhere my mother was saying "You're going to get acne if you keep eating that!"

Several years ago, news stations and internet sites began proclaiming chocolate as a health food. It's good for your heart and contains antioxidants. Excellent news for chocolate lovers everywhere.

Is chocolate good for you? How can you tell if it is good for you personally?
